Hunting and Fishing: The Valle d'Aosta Region has allocated funds to acquire expert evaluators for the selection hunting sector and fishermen specialized in fish fauna censuses.
AOSTA, 28 FEB - The plan of labor and training policies in the Aosta Valley reserves 125.800 euros for the agricultural sector, divided into two parallel actions.
The first, with an allocation of 50 thousand euros, concerns the sector of plant production and phytosanitary services and provides for the activation of training courses.
The organization of: a basic course aimed at those who intend to undertake an agritourism activity, an educational farm or an agrinido will be launched (25 thousand euros); a preparatory course for obtaining authorization to purchase phytosanitary products; and a course on the banking system to illustrate ordinary relationships with banks, types of credit in agriculture, guarantees and supplementary insurance (5 thousand euros) to the agricultural system. In addition, courses for dairy, fruit and wine, zootenic and beekeeping operators (8 thousand euros).
The second action concerns the sectors of flora, fauna, hunting and fishing and aims in particular, with an availability of 75.800 euros, on courses for hunters for the acquisition of the recognition of 'expert evaluators', a technical figure foreseen and requested in the scope of the modalities that regulate selection hunting (42.600 euros) and the training of expert fishermen able to collaborate in the census activities on the state and consistency of fish fauna populations (24.500 euros).
