Wildlife: Siena, Gianna Nannini was the victim of a mountain bike accident caused by a wild boar.
The famous Italian singer, Gianna Nannini, during a normal mountain bike ride on the Sienese hills, was the victim of a bad accident due to a wild boar that suddenly crossed her road.
It seems that Nannini was pedaling down a hill road when, to avoid the impact with a wild boar that suddenly crossed the road, she made a sharp swerve with braking, thus losing control of the bicycle and falling.
Following the bad fall, the famous Italian rocker suffered a fracture of the malleolus with a prognosis of at least sixty days of absolute rest and subsequent physiotherapy; the injury also forced Nannini to postpone the recording of the new and awaited album.
In the meantime, the wild boar has fled disappearing among the vegetation unaware of having caused, in addition to the usual damage to crops and things, for once also damage to Italian music.
