La Regional Federcaccia of the Marche wanted to comment on the proposals of Arch Hunting on the Marche hunting calendar relating to 2019-2020 season. The observations are different. First of all, FIDC recalled how Arci Caccia has foreseen the closure of the withdrawal at 30st January renouncing a priori to the following month. Federcaccia Marche then underlined how the question of Key concepts is very current: a tug-of-war is underway between the ministries of Agriculture and the Environment, it cannot be ignored.
Furthermore, the proposals do not include the pre-opening to aquatic species, while FIDC replied that in the Marche region a large part of this withdrawal takes place on the days in question. Another criticism was directed at suspension of dog training in September, reducing the August timetable from 20pm to 19pm as the final deadline. Well, in this way there would be a penalization of dog lovers and especially of those who still work.
The closing of the woodcock hunt on January 20, given that the species is considered less of a concern by the European Commission. The list also includes Arci Caccia's suggestion to reduce the annual collection from 20 to 15 animals (also ISPRA has foreseen 20 animals a year) and the absence of brunette and fighter among the huntable species. The conclusion of the FIDC press release is peremptory: "Surely Federcaccia Marche will never sign this calendar proposal, warns the Region from adopting it even in part and will fight every day against those who unreasonably want to limit our passion again.".
