Gianpiero Zinzi, President of the Council Group Campania League he addressed a question to answer concerning: "Urgent actions at the Government in the matter of hunting". Here is what you can read: “Following the limitations introduced by the DPCM of 3 November 2020, the new government provisions that divide the Italian territory into three different areas (known as yellow, orange, red) and which impose different restrictions based on the level of risk and the epidemic scenario of the affected area; such restrictions, especially those relating to travel, also indirectly limit the regular performance of the hunting activity.
Requests have been sent from various quarters to the Government, which clarified that in the "orange areas" hunting is allowed in the Municipality of residence, while according to the most permissive interpretations, it could also be hunted outside it, given that art . 2, co. 4, letter b of the Prime Ministerial Decree dated 3/11 prohibits any move to a municipality other than that of residence except that << ... to carry out activities or use services not suspended and not available in that municipality >> and since hunting is not suspended, according to this interpretation, it could be practiced outside one's own municipality, provided that this does not fall in your own ATC / CA or that it has no huntable territory.
The undersigned Councilor interrogates the Deputy Councilor to find out if he has submitted a request for derogation from the prohibitions imposed by the Government for all forms of hunting, also in the hopeful prospect of the transition to the orange zone, and at least for hunting ungulates, for which it is in any case urgent to arrange an extension at least for the entire month of January ".
