Hunting calendar and damage to agriculture, these are the themes of the meeting to be held in Casarza Ligure (GE) on 19 July 2012.
Tomorrow, at 21 pm at the Auditorium of Villa Sottanis in Casarza Ligure (Via V. Annuti, 36), the meeting will be held, organized by the Municipal Administrations of Casarza Ligure, Moneglia and Castiglione Chiavarese, on the theme "Damage caused by wild boars, roe deer and hunting calendar… Let's face each other ”.
The Municipal Administration of Casarza Ligure has recently organized some meetings to discuss the damage to agricultural crops caused mainly by wild boar and roe deer. A problem that is deeply felt by the populations of our hinterland, of great interest also for the nearby municipal administrations of Castiglione Chiavarese and Moneglia.
During these events, which saw the presence of a large number of participants (experts in the environmental sector and the provincial police, farmers, hunters, ordinary citizens, representatives of the most important hunting associations), a significant contribution to the discussion was given by the presence by the Regional Councilor for hunting and fishing, Renata Briano.
On these occasions the correlated and delicate question of the hunting calendar emerged. On this subject there are numerous and conflicting opinions that have also emerged following a further meeting organized, also in Casarza Ligure, by the Regional Councilor Francesco Bruzzone.
Considering that the topic is very topical as soon the discussion on the hunting calendar will arrive in the Regional Council for the subsequent approval, we are promoting a further public meeting on the theme: "Damage in agriculture by wild boar and roe deer and hunting calendar ... ".
