There are 15 hunters fined by the railway station Frosolone, in the province of Isernia, del State Forestry Corps at the end of a wild boar hunting trip. It was in fact discovered that these people had culled many specimens during the day, without however subjecting the ungulates to the necessary trichinosis tests. Furthermore, the hunters would not even have disposed of the carcasses. The agents found that the fifteen hunters had violated the obligations required by the hunting calendar 2016-2017 and legal obligations.
Controls on trichinosis are essential, as this pathology can also be transmitted from animals to humans in case of consumption of raw meat. In Molise the spread of the disease is not yet known with precision, consequently a series of behaviors must be followed, as is also the case in other parts of Italy, Sardinia in the first place. The people involved in this affair will have to pay a pecuniary sanction of just over 200 euros. Now the local Forestry will intensify checks in the coming days to prevent any repetition of such violations.
