Hunting in Trieste: next course for obtaining the hunting qualification, by the end of February time for submitting applications for registration.
The Provincial Administration launches by March 2013 an instruction course for the hunting qualification which includes notions concerning the hunting regulations in force, zoology applied to hunting, the pathologies of wildlife, hunting weapons and ammunition, environmental protection and the principles of safeguarding agricultural crops as well as first aid rules.
Attendance of the training course is necessary to access the related exams to obtain the hunting qualification certificate. The qualification exam consists of an oral test on all the subjects indicated above, in practical tests of correct handling of weapons, of shooting with a mobile target and fixed target to be carried out on the skeet ranges and on target shooting ranges.
The applicant for the certificate of qualification for hunting must submit a regular application to the Provincial Administration accompanied by the medical certificate issued by the competent Company for health services or by a military medical officer certifying physical fitness for hunting and by the certificate of qualification to gun handling issued at national target shooting ranges and skeet shooting ranges. The application for admission must be delivered directly to the Provincial Administration Offices or sent by postal service by Thursday 28 February 2013. A duty stamp of € 14.62 must be affixed to the application.
In case of direct delivery, the application must be presented to the Province of Trieste, Protocol Office, room 113, floor I, Piazza Vittorio Veneto 4, 34132 Trieste, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays: from 09.00 to 13.00 and on Mondays and Thursday: from 09.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 17.0, by Thursday 28 February 2013. The start date of the course, the times and the location will be communicated to the students subsequently.
