On the levy notwithstanding the Starling species, the Regional Council of Tuscany approved on November 11, 2019 an important resolution that goes to overcome some interpretative criticalities that in recent weeks have produced some complaints to hunters by the supervisory bodies. Particularly, resolution no. 1378 in question, clarifies unequivocally that the levy in derogation of the Storno species, in the period included between 1st September and 15th December 2019, is also allowed in the presence of scattered productive vegetational nuclei and in proximity to them for a radius of 100 meters.
A clear provision that punctually defines the conditions for taking the species not only limiting them to specialized crops (olive groves, vineyards and orchards), but also to more limited surfaces with scattered plant cores in conditions of productivity. A clarification based on the positive opinion n ° 63921 provided by ISPRA on 08/11/2019 following a specific request for clarification sent by the Regional Offices. There Confederation of Tuscan Hunters, in positively emphasizing this important result, it remains available to all hunters for any request for clarification.
