As disclosed by the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters, the Executive Decree of the Tuscany Region has been approved which authorizes the Wildlife entry plan for the territory on planned hunting of the province of Grosseto. This plan will be implemented on the basis of the proposals and the work of the hunting associations. What are the specific numbers? The species concerned are pheasants, partridges, partridges, hares, as well as quail.
The associations involved, on the other hand, are Federcaccia, Arci Caccia, Libera Caccia, Enalcaccia, ANUUMigratoristi, the CCT itself and UMAVI Massa Marittima. The two Territorial Areas of Hunting involved are ATC 6 “Grosseto Nord” and ATC 7 “Grosseto Sud”. The grand total is easy to say: we are talking about 2800 pheasants, 600 partridges, 660 red partridges, 55 hares and 100 quail.
The decree contains some important clarifications. First of all, the placing of red partridges must involve the animals coming from public game production centers or from private ones or from farms whose owner is able to document the genetic purity certified by the Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research. The entry of hares into the ATC 7 Grosseto Sud, then, cannot take place in the territory of a very precise cartography, in the municipal areas of Capalbio and Manciano and in the areas of the Marsiliana, Capalbio, Lake Acquato, La Capita and Montauto hunting farms.
