EXA 2013: On the second day of EXA, the exhibition of sporting, security and outdoor weapons scheduled at the Brescia Fair from 13 to 16 April, it is the turn of the sports champions who faced each other in the Team Cup final, organized by the Union Italian Shooting. Skeet shooting tests continue at EXA outdoor.
Brescia, 14 April 2013 - Today is the day especially dedicated to sportsmen who yesterday had the opportunity to meet Raniero Testa, the new record holder of Dynamic Shooting with 12 targets thrown simultaneously by hand and hit with 12 shots before touch the ground. The dynamism offered by this sport, which offers moments of pure adrenaline and strong emotions to the spectators, has its fulcrum in instinct, precision, speed and power, flanked by the constancy, reliability and constant performance of the athlete.
Another important event that animated this second day at the Fair is the Team Cup Final organized by the Italian Shooting Union, which for years has been held directly in the EXA pavilions.
It is one of the most important national competitions of the specialty, an opportunity to follow the sports performances of the best athletes from all over Italy where sixteen rifle teams and sixteen air pistol teams compete in knockout matches. "For 5 years the Fiera di Brescia has been the ideal stage to show our sport to the public - commented the President of UITS, Obrist Ernfried -, the place where we have chosen to organize the European Championships at 10 meters, thanks also to the commitment profuse by the President of the Fair Carlo Massoletti, by the President of the Chamber of Commerce Francesco Bettoni and by the Managing Director of the Fair Marco Citterio for the success of the event. A collaboration that allows us to introduce target shooting to the large audience present at the EXA. "
Excellent attendance at the weekend for the Field Test at the Bettolino shooting in Trenzano (BS), where today an acrobatic shooting show was held in the presence of the famous record holder Renato Lamera.
Visitors, more than doubled compared to last year, were able to try their hand at American sporting and trap and try guns of different calibers, assisted by the skeet shooting directors and technical staff of the companies. The participating companies were Benelli Armi, Beretta, Browing and Winchester, Caesar Guerin, I Fabarm, Falco, F.lli Pietta, Franchi, Rizzini and Zoli, sponsors for Fiocchi and Danesi ammunition. For the entire duration of the event, the various target and dynamic sport shooting lines are available to visitors, as well as the archery test field. New in this edition, the dog area organized in collaboration with the Italian Society Pro Segugio sez. Prov. Brescia, the Cinofilo Bresciano Group, the Kurzhaar Club Italia sect. Prov. Lombarde, the Italian Setters Company delegaz. Brescia. Present for the first time at an event not strictly linked to the dog sector, the federations exhibited fourteen breeds of hunting dogs, all of which have multiple titles. Among the excellences the Bayerische Gebirgesschweisshund, junior world champion 2012 and qualified for the recovery of injured animals and the Segugio Italiano Pelo Raso, national champion of social beauty.
In the exhibition area, specially set up, their peculiar characteristics are shown, also through fashion shows, and specialized staff is available to answer the questions and curiosities of the public. Tomorrow at 12.00 the National Assembly of Assoarmieri is scheduled, which, like every year, calls together the world of gunsmiths, hunting and the environment.
