Federcaccia Taranto organizes the conference in Martina Franca on the theme "The hunt in the South. What future?" to talk about the Hunting Activity in Southern Italy.
Organized by the Provincial Section of Taranto of the FIdC in collaboration and with the patronage of the Municipality of Martina Franca, on Saturday 2 March at 16,30 pm at the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Martina Franca the conference will be held on the theme “The hunt in the South. ? ”, In which the leaders of all hunting and agricultural associations, ATC representatives and of course all hunters are invited to take part.
Given that in the hunting season that has just passed, various initiatives by environmental and animal welfare associations took place in many regions, through appeals to the TAR for the cancellation or suspension of hunting calendars or modifications to them, and in consideration of the different sentences issued in this regard, the need emerges for the regional structures responsible for formulating calendars, in compliance with current laws and community directives, to adequately justify the choices made whenever they deviate from the envisaged ISPRA opinions.
For these reasons, the Provincial Council Federcaccia of Taranto, after agreement with the Avifauna Office of the National Presidency and with the collaboration of the Municipality of Martina Franca, organizes the conference which will be attended by Gian Luca Dall'Olio, National President of Federcaccia; the national vice-presidents Lorenzo Carnacina, Head of the Avifauna Office, and Antonio D'Angelo, Head of Sports Activities. The regional presidents of the FIdC Saverio Pace and the Provincial of Taranto Cosimo Colucci; Franco Ancona, Mayor of the Municipality of Martina Franca and Piero Bitetti, President of ATC Taranto.
In the role of speakers will be present Michele Sorrenti, Head of Research of the Birdlife Migratory Office of the FIdC, who will illustrate the aims and results; Sergio Scebba, who will illustrate the results of the research on larks and turdids promoted by the Avifauna Office; Alessandro Tedeschi, who will talk about the research on woodcock promoted by the same Office.
