The hiker who got lost in a wood in the Fiastrone Valley, in the province of Macerata, spent a "bad quarter of an hour" to escape a wild boar that was chasing her.
A bad adventure for the 37-year-old hiker who came face to face with a large wild boar while he was taking a walk along the Fiastrone Valley, in the province of Macerata. When the wild boar aimed at the woman instead of fleeing, she tried to escape by taking refuge in the dense bush but the animal did not give up and continued to chase her.
The frightened woman went deeper and deeper into the woods thus managing to finally escape the animal's fangs but she lost her bearings and was no longer able to find the way back home so she phoned her mother, who in turn alerted the agents of the State Forestry Corps of the Station Command of Fiastra. A few hours later a Forestry team managed to find the missing woman and bring her to safety.
