From the President of the Province of Brescia a legislative proposal to the Chamber to resolve the issue of hunting in derogation.
Daniele Molgara, President of the Province of Brescia and deputy in the Chamber for the Northern League, will present a bill aimed at resolving the age-old question of hunting in derogation. Molgara thus announced, "Even though we are almost at the end of the legislature, I believe that we can find time to discuss a story that involves not only hunting but also an entire industrial sector that boasts tradition and quality in our province".
The provincial councilor for hunting Aurelio Guarneri also intervened on the issue, explaining, "Our country has implemented the European directive, the possibility of establishing exceptions is entrusted to the Regions but as the Council of State, Tar, the Constitutional Court and Court of Justice of the European Community the transposition is incomplete ”. Precisely for this reason the Province is working to prepare a text, in concert with the hunting associations active in the area, which can guarantee a solution to the problem.
Concluding Guarnieri specified, “We want to overcome the two complaints that Europe regularly presents to the Lombardy Region. We have established a protocol which establishes the formalities and the dates in which the regions will be able to formalize the measures before sending them to the Government 60 days after the opening of the collection activity ”.
