Hunting and Fauna: Milan, a deer escapes from a fenced area and sows panic among motorists on the provincial road.
In the late morning of last Thursday, May 1, some motorists on the provincial road 14 that crosses the municipality of Settala (MI), found themselves face to face with none other than a deer. In fact, suddenly among the vehicles in transit on the provincial road a deer appeared intent on making the slalom between cars and motorbikes in an attempt to run away. Many warned the Police of what was happening while the deer, increasingly frightened, cornered the vehicles that in the meantime had stopped to avoid hitting it. In a few minutes two patrols of the Arma dei Carabinieri and the State Forestry Corps who chased the ungulate, chasing it in the Zoate countryside where it had lost its tracks.
In order to avoid unpleasant accidents, a part of the provincial road was closed to traffic while the men of the Forestry and the Carabinieri followed the tracks of the Cervo for several kilometers between the Zoate countryside up to the border between the municipalities of Tribiano and Mediglia in order to capture it and be able to save it.
The Cervo, however, finally entered the nearby wooded area, probably inside the Golf Club, thus making it lose its tracks. It is thought that the Cervo escaped from a fence of Villa Invernizzi in the Settala area.
