Hunting: ATC CS1 brings the project “Let's represent the ecosystem” to Caccia Village of Bastia Umbra (PG); example of excellent collaboration between school and Territorial Hunting Areas.
The Territorial Area of Hunting Cosenza 1 called to represent the collaboration between the school and the Hunting Territorial Area on the occasion of “Caccia Village”, the exhibition fair to be held in Bastia Umbra next May. Protagonist is the project "Let's represent the ecosystem" started in recent months with the involvement of 118 boys from eight to thirteen years belonging to the classes of various schools, of the ATC Cosenza 1, with the patronage of the Province of Cosenza and implemented by the Group of Research Dedalos, a cooperative company that has been dealing with environmental communication for years.
The life and habits of the Pollino animal species have become a video animation that will be premiered in May 2015 at the Caccia Village in Bastia Umbra, the most important trade fair in central Italy. The project is a concrete example to show that the time has come to "change the way of seeing hunting" and record this experience as a "unique project of its kind" which will now become an example to be exported to other parts of the country. .
Tomorrow, Friday 27 February 2015, in the Aula Magna of the “Corrado Alvaro” State Comprehensive Institute in Francavilla Marittina, starting at 10.30, the outcome of the video work that involved all the young protagonists will be presented to the public. in a video born from the observation of the natural environments of some wild animals including the Griffon, the Boar, the Woodpecker, the Deer and the Roe as well as the Wolf and the Marsh Turtle carried out through a series of excursions in the external environments of the Pollino accompanied by a naturalistic guide and by the staff of the ATC CS1. The second phase of the work involved the collaboration with a video technician, a graphic designer and an animator who helped the children to create a series of comics that make up a cartoon story to be presented as the final report of this environmental education work.
The presentation will be attended by Maria Carmela Rugiano, head teacher, who will bring her greetings together with Saverio Bloise, President of ATC Cosenza1 and Lorenzo Vitari, Manager of the Province of Cosenza. Speakers will be Tiziana Stefanizzi representing the Dedalos Research Group, Alberto Vitari, wildlife expert, Giuseppe Cortone and Eugenio Muscianese, ringers Ispra Progetto Turdidi 2014/2016.
