Giuseppe Orlando della Gherardesca, 42 years old, grandson of Count Gaddo and son of Countess Sibilla died in a hunting accident, which took place late Sunday morning, in Castagneto Carducci in the province of Livorno.
The accident allegedly occurred during a wild boar hunt within the private hunting reserve owned by the family. According to an initial reconstruction, after the wounding of an animal, Orlando della Gherardesca would have approached the boar and would have been hit by mistake by one of his hunting companions.
