The Hunting Associations belonging to Face Italia (Anlc, Anuu-Migratoristi, Enalcaccia, Federcaccia) consider the March demonstration "inappropriate" and "harmful", therefore they formally dissociate from it.
The Presidents of the Hunting Associations belonging to Face Italia, who met on the evening of 1 February 2010, carefully evaluated the opportunity to join the event which, perhaps in a hasty manner, was launched in support of the requests of the majority of Italian hunters. Just the latest political events, with the arduous approval in the Senate (139 votes in favor, 108 against and 8 abstentions) of art. 38 of the Community, demonstrate in a tangible way that the Government and the entire Parliament have embarked on a concrete path of approaching the demands of citizens-hunters.
Even in the awareness that what has just been accomplished is only a first, small step, towards a new and defined regulation of hunting in a truly European key. The Hunting Associations belonging to Face Italia (Anlc, Anuu-Migratoristi, Enalcaccia, Federcaccia) believe that every attempt must be made to tone down the tone of an ideological controversy, spurious and completely unmotivated, which risks irreversibly polluting a a confrontation that can and must remain in the context of profound fairness between all the interested parties. The same time, the pre-electoral period in which this demonstration should take place, risks contaminating the strictly apolitical spirit that should characterize the protest of the hunters, compromising their absolute transversality. For all this, the Presidents who subscribe to this press release believe that, at least at the current stage of the debate, a manifestation of the hunting world is not only inappropriate, but perhaps also harmful because it would risk frustrating the efforts of those who really care about the future. of Italian hunting, and therefore formally dissociate from it. At the same time, however, the Presidents consider it essential to maintain a high and constant level of monitoring and attention in order to reach the indispensable update of 157/92 and, therefore, for this reason, they urge us to undertake all the initiatives that lead to achievement of the necessary approval of art. 38 of the Community Law also in the Chamber of Deputies.
