“The pre-opening of the 23/24 hunting season for 9 and 10 September has been confirmed by the Regional Council of Campania with resolution number 516 of 08.09.2023, adopted following the approval by the Regional Council of the five Provincial Wildlife and Hunting Plans, necessary to ensure correct and effective wildlife and hunting planning as provided for in paragraph 2 art.18L157/92" . Nicola Caputo, Regional Councilor for Agriculture of Campania, declared this on the sidelines of the Regional Council meeting.
Pre-opening details
The 2023/2024 hunting season will start with the collection of the blackbird (Turdus merula) and the jay (Garrulus glandarius) on 9 and 10 September 2023, until 12,00, in the form of temporary hunting and with the collection of the dove (Streptopelia turtur) on 10 September 2023 as well as from 17 September in accordance with the provisions of the National Management Plan implemented by DGR no. 514 of 06.09.2023. Due to the opening of hunting activities on 9 and 10 September, dog training and training activities are suspended.
