Hunting in Liguria: Un recourse to the TAR, complete with a request for compensation for damages, to have the boar hunting team recognized and to "conquer" a portion of the territory where hunting is practiced. The hunt has now taken up residence in the offices of the Ligurian administrative court, but this time the appeals of the environmentalists do not enter.
To discuss, in Follo (SP), is the appeal presented by about thirty fans of wild boar hunting of the lower Val di Vara, who have sued the territorial hunting area, the Province of La Spezia and the wild boar hunt 46, the one that operates on the hills of Follesi. Reason for the dispute, the decision of the Province not to endorse the request of the group of hunters to form a team and to exercise their passion in a portion of the? Hunting camp? where the team from Follese has already been operating for over 30 years.
The hearing at the TAR will be held on the same day in which the appeal of the environmentalists will also be discussed on the merits, which led to the preventive stop of both the official hunting calendar and the transitional calendar launched urgently by the Liguria Region.
Meanwhile, today there will be many hunters who will go to Genoa to make their voices heard. «The institutions also have their faults, because the calendar could have been programmed in time, as did Tuscany? explains Marco Carabelli, municipal manager of Federcaccia in Follo?, but I find it unfair to suspend everything for activities in progress. The measure causes damage not only to hunters, who paid their taxes and then cannot practice, but also to the territories, which are now prey to the gods boars».
In the meantime, the Region tries again: the production activities commission has invited the junta to prepare a legal action to legitimize and protect the council acts approved so far, and to prepare a new one as soon as possible hunting calendar, which takes into account the information received.
