Hunting: the Province of Lucca, on the proposal of the ATC Pistoia 16, has modified its Hunting Calendar with regard to the selective collection of roe, red and fallow deer species.
The Provincial Council of Lucca, which met this morning, Thursday 31 October, modified, at the request of the ATC Pistoia 16, the part of the Hunting Calendar relating to the selective collection of Roe, Red Deer and Fallow Deer for the 2013-2014 Hunting Season. The changes concern the periods and methods of hunting the species in question. With the change made it will be allowed, in the period from November 2, 2013 to January 29, 2014 (coinciding with the wild boar driven hunt), the selective collection of roe, fallow deer and red deer species, as well as on Mondays and Thursdays (as well as provided for by the provincial hunting calendar approved with DGP n.119 of 1 August 2013) also on Wednesdays and Sundays, exclusively in the form of temporary posting from 16pm to the deadline set by the regional legislation in force, however always within the periods indicated above for each species and class of sex and age and in compliance with the provisions of the law on hunting options (paragraph 3 art. 28 of LRT 3/94).
With this provision, even within authorized slaughtering plans and without changing the maximum number of animals to be slaughtered, the possibilities for selecontrollers to complete the plan are increased. We also inform you that, with the same provision, the day of wild boar hunting which fell on Wednesday 25 December 2013, coinciding with the holiday, was postponed to Thursday 26 December 2013.
