Hunting: Liguria, with the new Hunting Calendar, the Season reopens; satisfied the regional councilor Francesco Bruzzone, "whoever has paid will be able to exercise their right".
With the approval of the new transitional hunting calendar for the Liguria Region, hunting reopens with immediate effect as of today 2 November 2013; Francesco Bruzzone, hunter and group leader of the Northern League in the Regional Council of Liguria, commented with great satisfaction on the go-ahead from the regional council and from the competent commission (with unanimous vote) for the new provisional management document. “I express satisfaction because legal certainty has been restored - said Bruzzone -. Finally, those who have paid will be able to exercise their right to carry out the hunting activity, and we return to respect for the environment, intervening on situations that were becoming problematic, as demonstrated by the episodes that occurred in recent days, with repeated sightings of wild boars near the city centre".
The Northern League adviser then said, "There remains a bit of regret regarding the ban on the use of lead ammunition, an anti-technical issue that is dangerous both for the compensation of the hunters and the animals themselves, as it causes the risk of increasing injured animals. In any case, general satisfaction for the work done, which makes it possible to resume hunting in the next few days, or rather Saturday, considering that Friday is a day of hunting silence ”.
