Hunting in Rome: the Province has definitively approved the Wildlife Hunting Plan valid for the provincial territory.
This morning the Provincial Council of Rome definitively approved the resolution containing the provisions relating to the Wildlife Hunting Plan valid for the territory of the Province of Rome; not only hunting but also agricultural activities and protected areas.
The Councilor for Agricultural, Hunting and Fishing Policies, of the Province of Rome, Aurelio Lo Fazio, explained "The procedural process of this important tool that regulates not only hunting, but also relations with the agricultural world is completed and protected areas. A further commitment made by President Zingaretti finally completed ”.
Continuing Lo Fazio stated, “It should be noted that the Plan has already been subjected to an impact assessment, obtaining the positive opinion of the Lazio Region. The new Plan will be immediately sent to the Lazio Region to be included in the Regional Wildlife Hunting Plan ".
The provincial councilor also pointed out, “We have also paid great attention to the environment. In the new version there have been no changes, but only changes provided for by regional legislation. The agro-forestry-pastoral territory has been revisited, and those institutes that have lost the technical characteristics for which they were created have been eliminated, due to the excessive "anthropization" of our territory ".
Finally Lo Fazio concluded “I thank the Provincial Council for the vote expressed on the provision and the interested trade associations who have worked to achieve this important result”.
