HUNTING: Representatives of the European Parliament and national and local institutions were present at the international event. Among the representatives of the economic and social categories, Giulia Sottoriva, national president of the CONF.AVI (Confederation of Italian Hunting Associations), was also present. The Hon. Sergio Berlato, Italian Member of the European Parliament and National President of the Association for Rural Culture, urged the Italian Government, represented on the occasion by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Francesco Lollobrigida and the Undersecretary Patrizio La Pietra, to promptly take into examines the proposed amendments to state law no. 157/92 formally presented in Parliament after being the subject of a popular petition, promoted by the Association for Rural Culture, which collected over 504.200 signatures in just a few months.
Undersecretary Patrizio La Pietra, speaking on behalf of the Government, assured that Parliament will begin to examine the proposed amendments to state law 157/92 immediately after the approval of the budget law which should take place by the end of 2023.
The national President of CONF.AVI Giulia Sottoriva thanked the Hon. Sergio Berlato for having the shared proposals for amendments to state law 157/92 presented in Parliament, at the same time thanking the representatives of the Government for having undertaken the commitment to bring the amendments to state law 157/92 for approval in Parliament in the shortest time possible.
