The Alessandria and Vercelli section of the Italian Society Pro Segugio (SIPS) organized a debate entitled “SOS Hare! Indications for the correct management of a "noble" species " for the day of Friday 30 June 2017 at 21 pm. The event will take place at the “La Tollara” Dog Zone, in Cascina Nuova (road to Felizzano), to be precise in Fubine Monferrato (precisely in the province of Alessandria). The program includes the introduction and greeting by the president of the Gruppo Cinofilo Alessandrino - SIPS Alessandria, and then moving on to real relationships.
Dr. Antonio Lavazza of the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Lombardy and Emilia Romagna will deal with the management of the hare in the province of Piacenza, then it will be the turn of Dr. Enrico Merli. The latter is part of the Wildlife Management and Planning-Territorial Agriculture Hunting and Fishing Service of Piacenza (Emilia Romagna Region) and his intervention will have to do with the monitoring of hare populations in the province of Alessandria.
Dr. Sabrina Carolfi (Provincial Faunal Technical Service and Ichthyofauna of the Province of Alessandria) will instead deepen the health monitoring wildlife in this part of Piedmont, with particular reference to the hare. The conclusions will finally be entrusted to Alberto Santià of the Veterinary Service of the Alessandria ASL.
