The Municipal Theater of Agement of Trento is ready to welcome an important moment of confrontation that will have as its absolute protagonist the deer. The title of the event is emblematic: "Cervus elaphus or Cervus sapiens. What optimal management? Management experiences compared". It is clear that the goal is to deepen the various ways in which the unungulate is managed in Trentino and beyond, in order to avoid the mistakes of the past and obtain better results.
The appointment is scheduled for 20:30 pm Monday 26 February 2018 and, after the greeting of the authorities, Michele Rocca of the Trentino Hunters Association will talk about the deer in the south-western area of Autonomous Province of Trento. Soon after it will be the turn of Andreas Agreiter (Autonomous Province of Bolzano) with his discussion on hunting at "intervals" in the Luson Reserve in South Tyrol-Sudtirol.
Luca Pedrotti, on the other hand, will talk about the management of the deer in Stelvio National Park, focusing attention on tourist use and the need for control. Finally, Lucio Luchesa (also from the Trentino Hunters Association) will address the following theme "Conserving to hunt: the experience of the Adige Sinistra District". At about 22:15 pm the discussion will begin among those present. The hope of the organizers, therefore, is that there is a large presence of people.
