The Councilor for Agriculture of the The Tuscan Regional Authority, Marco Remaschi, has disseminated the data relating to the application of the Objective Law. The balance that can be made at this time is of 215 thousand ungulates killed in twenty months, a result judged positively. Remaschi spoke of positive numbers, even if the criticalities are still there. This report will be delivered to the Regional Council, in order to make it clear how the text was applied for the containment of wild animals.
The heads taken are 215575 to be precise: there are almost 185 thousand wild boars, just over 27 thousand roe deer, just under a thousand roe deer, as well as 2500 fallow deer and 217 mouflons. Local information and peculiarities are currently being analyzed, as pointed out by Remaschi himself: for the latter the benefits affect everyone, not only the agricultural sector, although there is still a long way to go.
The Region is therefore convinced to continue along the path traced by the Objective Law (introduced for two years now), in the hope that everyone will contribute to the final result with their skills, namely the protection of the agricultural and environmental heritage, despite the hunting world is not really convinced by the validity of the instrument.
