La Confederation of Tuscan Hunters has strongly condemned the offensive writings that have appeared in recent days along the Provincial road Pontedera-Calcinaia. The provincial section of Pisa reported threats against hunters and the regional councilor for agriculture, Marco Remaschi. The writing is unequivocal: "Remaschi to death, hunters at the stake".
The reference cannot fail to go to the Objective Law which provides for the containment of ungulates in the Tuscan territory and strongly desired by the Regional Council. CCT expressed its own solidarity in a convinced manner, recalling how the violence and intolerance of the anti-venatorial culture honest citizens who carry out a legitimate and socially useful activity, the hunters in fact, are not absolutely useful, on the contrary they pay the price.
The association has never been in favor of the Objective Law, but everything has always remained circumscribed with the utmost transparency and absolute respect. The authors of the sentences, on the other hand, were bluntly defined as "cowards", capable only of hiding behind anonymity with bleak and despicable messages. CCT Pisa has assured that in the hunting world there will always be a frank and direct interlocutor, as well as a bearer of values and practices marked by peace and civil coexistence.
