“For the LAV, who says he loves animals, it is not a problem that swine fever kills wild boars, reared pigs, family pigs and wild pigs. What matters is to hinder the hunt at all costs. What seems to escape or rather not interest these gentlemen is that without a management of that wildlife, which is a vehicle for contagion of swine fever and therefore very dangerous for other animals, the damage will be incalculable. For the LAV obviously there are animals of series A and others of series B ". This is what the Honorable Member says Maria Cristina Caretta, deputy of the Brothers of Italy.
Caretta refers to what was declared by the animal rights association, according to which African swine fever is not at all a dangerous disease for humans: the League has made it known in recent days that it has written a letter to the Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, as Minister of the Environment, Sergio Costa, and to the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, to ask not to grant in any way what have been defined as "inappropriate and dangerous derogations in favor of hunters".
