The next 28st May there will be elections for the new Regional Committee of the Aosta Valley is preferably used for hunting management. The date is official after the meeting in the last few days between Laurent Viérin, Aosta Valley Councilor for Agriculture, and various representatives of local hunters. The last months of the hunting management in the northern region have been busy to say the least.
The meeting served precisely for settle the differences, given that the 2016 reform has raised so many doubts and perplexities: precisely these controversies have then led to resignation of the entire Hunting Committee and the appointment of an extraordinary commissioner, Paul Orellier. As explained by the Region, there is the possibility of resuming collaboration within the hunting world, therefore the reconstitution of the Committee is seen as a fundamental starting point.
Viérin met the eight representatives of the eight hunting districts, in addition to the presidents of the territorial sections and the representatives of the hunting and dog associations. The meeting was also characterized by the presence of commander and deputy commander of the Valle d'Aosta Forestry Corps: the new Hunting Committee is destined to remain in office until 2018.
