Partridge hunting trials until the 13th of the month, 14th and 15th great hunting with the specials on the setter and pointer breeds
The hunting trials of partridge started on 7 March in Nis in Serbia, together with the great quest, for the English and Italians. Serbia turned out to be a perfect place for this type of tests as, although there is a rather harsh climate capable of snowing the territory even during the spring, it has nevertheless led to the formation of the necessary pairs of partridges. This is also thanks to the work of man who last autumn provided for the release of numerous flocks of these specimens of partridge in the territory in order to repopulate the species and is committed to its safeguarding and protection in a rather profuse way.
The event in Nis, organized by Dusko Somaz and his many collaborators, sees the participation of as many as 440 specimens of pointing dogs. At the opening of the event, Paolo Andreini and Giuliano Baricci were present as representatives of the Enci (national body of Italian dog lovers). 26 expert personalities have been chosen by the body itself who will act as judges of this event. The partridge hunting trials will go on until March 13 when we finally have all the results. Tests on mixed partridges have already been carried out, both the hunt for mixed partridges and for mixed partridges. The tests on continental partridges have yet to be carried out. Furthermore, on March 14 and March 15, the great search will be conducted with the specials on the setter and pointer breeds.
