Hunting: Tests for setters in Rosignano in the province of Livorno
The tests for the setter breed were held on 27 February in Rosignano in the province of Livorno. A real morphological meeting that was sponsored by the ENCI and was directed by Franco Poli, President of the SIS Delegation of Livorno. The event saw the participation of many other realities strongly linked to the territory such as the Provincial Administrations and the management committees of the restocking and capture areas. The territory demonstrated during this day the presence of an excellent quantity of natural game.
The event was an opportunity to highlight the characteristics of the setter breed and the results obtained from this observation can undoubtedly be considered excellent. The participants in the event, in fact, all proved to be exemplary of quality capable of working very well. The setter breed can be considered a healthy breed in its own right. The gathering was attended by fifty examples of setters among which the best male example was undoubtedly Erik del Cevoli while the best female example Brina del Malvaldo. The work test was instead won by the female model Ambra led by De Marchi who was awarded the important international CACIT certification.
