A story that has been going on for almost three years now: the 19 January of the 2015 there was the kidnapping of some radio transmitters with GPS collars to five hunters engaged in a wild boar hunt in the woods of Chatillon, in the Aosta Valley area. The hypothesis was that the frequencies of these devices they were interfering with those of the Fire Brigade, thus disturbing their activities.
Four of these people ended up on trial to be later acquitted, but the judge decided not to send the file to the Ministry to investigate the case and verify any administrative offense. In these hours we are talking again about those fines, since the Aosta judge decided to cancel the provision of the same Ministry of Economic Development, ie four fines for a total of almost 2mila euros. Initially the amount was higher, that is to say 2600 euros, but then came to the halving and cancellation as in this case.
The reasons are quickly stated: the Ministry avoided the right of defense being exercised, preventing the communication of the outcome of the checks within 90 days. This is the second time that the sanctions have been canceled: among other things, the accusation against these Aosta Valley hunters was that of having installed radio transmitters without any right to use frequency.
