La hunting season 2017-2018 it also began in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. E-Distribution, a company that is part of the Enel Group and which deals with the distribution of electricity in our country, has decided to launch an appeal aimed at hunters from the two regions: the goal is to raise awareness among fans of hunting activities on the risks associated with shooting near the plants.
In particular, the company strongly advised against hunting near the power lines and other installations. In fact, a single stray bullet can damage equipment and interrupt the distribution of electricity, making many citizens uncomfortable. E-Distribuzione knows perfectly well that most hunters take security measures, consequently they should raise awareness among their colleagues, especially the younger ones. Among other things, damage to cables, insulators and equipment can be noticed after several days or even months, so the failure tends to become greater.
There are five company councils. First of all, do not shoot near the power lines, then you need to check the position of the same on the ground. In addition, the implants can be hidden without forgetting that you never shoot the birds on the lines. Finally, the fall of the handler must alert the hunters, who are advised not to approach the cable under any circumstances.
