La hunting season 2017-2018 it started a few days ago and we are already starting to take stock of the presence of hunters in different regions. One of the most interesting speeches certainly concerns theEmilia Romagna: the Provincial Police recorded a slight increase of hunters in the Bolognese area, while in Rimini the situation is worrying.
The decline affects the entire region, given that there has been a halving in the space of two decades. The Rimini hunters, then, were 5725 in 2000 (these are hunting licenses issued 17 years ago). After more than three decades, they have become 3369, 2356 less. This means that every year about 140 hunters from the Romagna province have "gone". The trend has always been negative, except for the comparison between 2009 and 2010, when the badges went up from 3997 to 4119.
It can be considered the classic exception that confirms the rule, but it should be remembered that in that period theUpper Valmarecchia it was annexed to the province. Among other things, Rimini appears to be the Romagna province with the least hunters ever, also because they represent just over 9% of the total. Forlì-Cesena and Ravenna, on the contrary, have fewer inhabitants, but are resisting much better.
