Moreno Pieroni, councilor for hunting of the Marche region, intervened in the last few hours to talk about the imminent opening of the hunting season 2017-2018. In particular, the novelties of the text, the hunting fauna plan and the single statute of the Territorial Areas of Hunting. Pieroni recalled how the Marche calendar was recognized as the best in Italy, thanks above all to its balanced structure.
The Region had already decided to reduce the hours, complete with rest in the hottest and most central hours, a fundamental measure to protect different species. The calendar is the result of a unity of purpose: the general opening has been set for September 17, while the conclusion will take place on November 26, without forgetting the pre-opening (2, 3, 6, 9, 10, 11 and 13 September). The wild boar hunt will begin in mid-October: the wildlife hunting plan was also drawn up for the first time by the Marche Region after the transfer of competences from the provinces.
Pieroni exalted the role of this tool, capable of launching a new five-year program throughout the territory, encouraging sustainable collection. The planning of all the wildlife institutes will also be defined, in order to have a new plan within about a year and a half. Finally, the commissioner talked about the proposal for a single regional statute for ATCs, which is much awaited to ensure the same methods of functioning of the bodies.
