Contemporary design, clean lines and one great protagonist: the legendary logo. The official merchandise line Beretta is the answer to the desire of true enthusiasts to be able to carry a sign of their favorite brand with them at all times. Key rings, diaries, stickers and much more, to be jealously guarded or to give to your closest friends. Show everyone that you belong to the great Beretta family! The Beretta logo, as some remember, boasts noble blazons and contains a powerful message: the idea of hitting the target, of hitting the target. It was conceived in the late 30s by Gabriele D'Annunzio and can still be seen today reproduced in several places inside the Vittoriale, the last residence of the Poet.
D'Annunzio asked the artist and sculptor Guido Marussig to model the logo. The 3 arrows enclosed in as many circles represent the 3 shots fired by a battleship that engages in battle with a potential enemy: the arrow on the left represents the first warning shot, shot at the stern of the ship, to deprive it of the rudder and make it ungovernable; the arrow on the right represents the second warning shot, fired at the bow of the ship, to take on water; the central arrow is the last shot fired, in the center of the ship itself, to make it sink.
D'annunzio completed the logo with the motto "Give in the pitcher" or "hit the target" and it is said that it was the poet who suggested to Giuseppe Beretta - 13 descendant of the family - to use it as a trademark for his weapons, "so precise as to always hit the target". Since 1954 D'Annunzio's three arrows are our logo and we are extremely proud of them.
