As reported byANUUMigrators in the usual weekly update on the migration pass, the winged friends did not give a positive answer after that slight recovery which we thought would support ornithologists' hopes of seeing the Prispoloni, the Black Nurses and all those summers which to date have disillusioned us. Only the constant and continuous presence of Woodcock, monitored at the FEIN Ornithological Observatory of Arosio, shows a positive trend of the species.
The first Blackcaps were observed with interest and the sympathetic Robin who should herald, according to the memories of the elderly fowlers, the signs of the arrival of the much desired Song Thrush. Weather conditions once again influenced migration from the north of the western Palaearctic, from where the first cold descent is expected. We will see what will happen in this truly "crazy" climatic context.
