As reported by ACR (Association for Rural Culture), there are still numerous reports relating to wolves in our country. During one wild boar hunting trip in Lajatico, in the province of Pisa, a hunter finds his dog killed and torn apart by wolves in an area very popular with families and children for walking. Wolves, looking for food, they are getting closer and closer to inhabited centers, putting livestock, our shepherds, breeders and even families in grave danger.
The increasing sightings and the discovery of animal carcasses torn apart by them ferocious carnivores, lead us to believe that the wolf is increasingly present throughout the national territory and has no subjection to man. It is no longer the time to stand by and watch. We must adopt a plan for the containment and management of wildlife and large carnivores, finding an effective way to dissuade wolves from attacking flocks, other grazing animals and our dogs before they attack our children.
