A female roe deer was hit by a car a Magrè of Schio, in the province of Vicenza, to be precise at the height of a roundabout. The incident required the intervention of the Fire Brigade and the Local Police, with unavoidable repercussions on traffic, but the most important intervention was that of the hunters of the Ungulate Val Leogra Group. Everyone gave up on the animal, except for the same shotguns who undertook to load the wounded specimen and take it to a house.
Only the hunters disagreed with the idea of suppressing the ungulate, which did not seem so bad. Fortunately, firefighters and brigades contacted the person in charge of the selection hunting and the recovery of dead or injured wildlife and a better solution was found. The roe deer was warmed and comfortable and recovered day after day. The hunters then released him, demonstrating great sensitivity, contrary to what is often told to public opinion.
The wild now has a tag that serves to identify it: this is the first item to be released in 2018, a detail that certifies the impossibility of killing. The same Vicenza hunters were protagonists in the last 24 months of five similar bailouts, all located between Schio and Santorso.
