La Liguria region has communicated to all the Territorial Areas of Hunting and to the Alpine Districts that there will be an extension of the hunting wild boar for the whole month of December and for that of January. As announced, in fact, by the Mountain and Wildlife Policies Sector (an integral part of the Agriculture, Sport, Tourism and Culture Department), the collapsible quotas have not been completed in these days of ungulates, based on the provisions of Decree 4265 of last 7 September.
For this reason, the second paragraph of article 35 of Regional Law 29 of 1994 was used, precisely to complete the plans by 31 January 2018. The norm contains the regional norms for the protection of homeothermic fauna and for hunting. Article 35 of the law focuses on hunting wild boar and other ungulates.
According to the second paragraph, the plans are drawn up following the indications provided by the National Institute for Wild Fauna and are approved by the Provinces by July 15 or September 15 (depending on the possible request for an advance withdrawal in August). Among other things, in recent weeks theZooprophylactic Institute he had asked the Ligurian hunters to comply with the new indications on the number of samples to be analyzed (coming from three wild boars killed).
