Four retirees will be tried because of a trespass that would have led to the violation of the hunting ban. The protagonists of this story reside in the province of Piacenza and in March 2016 they went hunting for wild boars in the Cremona area. According to what was ascertained by one voluntary guard, the four would have boundless of 120 meters, ending up right in the territory of the Lombard province in which it was necessary to respect the ban on hunting activities.
After more than two years, the time has come for the first hearing, therefore the legal path is still long. However, the hunters are not active, as the firearms license has been suspended. The retirees had been involved in the ungulate culling plan envisaged by the Province of Piacenza. The joke would have ended in the worst way with the investigations of the guard: the latter will only be heard in four months, to be precise next 18 October, so as to deepen what is written in the minutes.
According to an agent of the Provincial Police, however, the four had unloaded 12-gauge rifles, with no dogs in tow. Besides, there wouldn't be wild boar carcasses in the surroundings, a sign that the story must be clarified in every detail to ascertain what were the real responsibilities.
