At the 2012 Game Fair, which ended a few days ago in Tarquinia (VT), a meeting was held between the exponents of Caccia Ambiente and the Hunting Associations aimed at illustrating the political project of the party.
The meeting, which took place on 2 June, saw the presence of the President of the ANUU, dr. Marco Castellani, of the President of Federcaccia; dr. Gian Luca Dall'Olio, of the Deputy Vice President of Liberacaccia, dr. Sisto Dati. Dr. Osvaldo Veneziano dell'Arcicaccia phoned to warn of the impossibility of attending the meeting. Also present was the President of the Federal Italy political movement, Dr. Aldo Traccheggiani.
On the occasion of the meeting, for Caccia Ambiente, the Secretary (Avv. Angelo Dente) and the President (Dr. Angelo Stango) focused mainly on the following concepts:
- The party cannot and does not represent exclusively hunters, but is the bearer of all those values which are also the basis of the hunting world, starting with the centrality of man. Values common to many other categories, such as: farmers, fishermen, inhabitants of small towns, etc. All categories ignored by politics and considered as mere bearers of votes, precisely because they are perceived as witnesses of a culture considered to be past;
- There is and cannot be any identification between the party and the hunting associations, as the party must play a purely political role, in order to create a bargaining force capable of bringing out those values, which between the the founding values of our society are another, while the hunting associations must play a purely trade union role;
- Both subjects are indispensable and a collaboration would be desirable, while respecting their respective roles.
The reply of the hunting associations present made it clear that, in compliance with the different political ideas of each individual hunter, they will continue to operate while maintaining their autonomy and non-partisan nature, not taking sides in favor of any party, but evaluating the goodness of the proposals and contents that they will be able to advance for the enhancement, promotion and defense of hunting in Italy and the defense of shared values, in order to achieve all the expected objectives.
The meeting ended in a constructive atmosphere, with the commitment to continue dialogue and discussion, to ensure that, also in respect of one's autonomy, the conditions for a cultural and legislative change can be created, both in the hunting field. and environmental, in harmony with European legislation and in line with our traditions.
