Il National Park of the Casentinesi Forests organized three days to realize the census of the roaring deer. The natural area is located between the provinces of Forlì-Cesena, Arezzo and Florence and this activity was prepared in collaboration with theISPRA, the Carabinieri, the Tuscany Region, the Emilia Romagna Region and the Territorial Areas of Hunting of Arezzo and Forlì-Cesena.
The census will take place from 28 to 30 September, to be precise during the night. It will be open to enthusiasts from all over Italy who want to provide their contribution, supporting the experts in the census operations for three nights. male deer. There will also be convivial moments, in order to facilitate the exchange of experiences and passion. In addition, training sessions were organized as regards the management of animals, wolves and wildlife in general.
At the end of the census, a network of people interested in collaborating on a voluntary basis will be created. Finally, as happened on other occasions, a session of wolf howling to monitor the wolf packs found in this protected area of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines.
