For the hunters of the island of Ischia there is very important and long overdue news. As disclosed by Francis Del Deo, mayor of Municipality of Forio, shotguns and firearms owners in general will benefit from the dialogue established between the local authority and the ASL Naples 2 North. The first citizen has obtained the carrying out of the toxicological tests necessary for the issue of licenses right inside the Campania island.
In a nutshell, hunters will just need to go to the “Anna Rizzoli” Hospital in Lacco Ameno to carry out these tests and renew the license. The checks will also be carried out for the issue of a new license. This is an obvious convenience for the residents. Until now, in fact, the Ischia hunters were forced to go to Qualiano, not far from Naples.
The transfer was therefore not indifferent, with the need to take a ferry or a hydrofoil (the journey also takes more than two hours). The Neapolitan municipality is no longer the only accredited point. In particular, the mayor of Forio pointed out the availability and sensitivity shown by Lia Aiardo, doctor of the ASL. At least in Ischia a step forward has been made to defeat the bureaucracy that Italian hunters often have to face.
