La hunting season 2016-2017 it has not yet begun in Sardinia, as indeed in all Italian regions, but on the island there is already a very heated controversy. As reported by La Nuova Sardegna, in fact, there are strong divisions on Territorial Areas of Hunting, given that the region has not implemented the provisions of the National Law of 1992, the one of reference for the hunting world.
It was not a moment of distraction, but a very specific choice. According to Marco Loi, Ogliastra manager of theUnion of Hunters of Sardinia (UCS), the association is against the provincial and even the regional ambits, as they are not considered the right solution to protect the environment and balance hunting and species maintenance. The alternative considered more valid is the municipal committee.
Lallo is missing, at the head of the faunal committee of the province of Nuoro, instead renewed the appeal for Sardinia to put itself in order, in order to put an end to "Twenty-four years of anarchy". Manca considers the ATCs a necessary legal and territorial reality. Some hunters consider this opening an attempt to close the woods and plains. The UCS is largely convinced that responsible hunting is the best decision to make for the conservation of the species, in addition the big hunting of red deer, mouflon and fallow deer.
