Hunting accident. It happened yesterday (Sunday 2 October) in the woods of Casale di Pignone, in the province of La Spezia where a 54-year-old hunter, who despite being suffering from a disability that has forced him into a wheelchair for years, did not want to give up. to his passion for wild boar hunting who has been practicing regularly for over twenty-five years.
The man went with his friends to the woods of the Val di Vara to take part in a wild boar hunt but at about noon, when the hunt of hunting was about to end, the man was wounded in the foot by a bullet. According to the reconstruction of the facts, the hunter would have injured himself on his left foot by accidentally exploding a shot with his own rifle.
The rescue of the hunting companions and subsequently of the 118 personnel were immediate, who then proceeded to transport the injured hunter to the emergency room of the Sant'Andrea hospital. Man is not in danger of life.
The soldiers of the Carabinieri also intervened on the spot to investigate the case but there seems to be no doubt about the accidental nature of the hunting accident as explained by the victim and by his hunting companions informed about the facts.
