An industry value of almost 1 billion euros (909 million); an import / export balance of + 313 million with export peaks exceeding 90% of production per year; a total value of 7,3 billion which contributes 0,44% to GDP overall Italian; these are some of the numbers that characterize the Italian arms sector, an excellence recognized globally. And it is with these numbers that ANPAM file, National Association of Sports and Civil Weapons and Ammunition Manufacturers, celebrates its first 40 years of activity, years full of challenges and successes that have made it possible achieve and maintain an Italian leadership position of the sector globally.
Excellence represented, for example, by the contribution to the successes obtained in the field of volleyball; it is also thanks to Italian weapons and ammunition, in fact, that talented athletes have managed to win 30 Olympic medals in history (11 golds, 11 silvers and 8 bronzes), a medal table that will certainly aspire to grow during the next Tokyo Olympics. The celebrations for the 40th anniversary of ANPAM began with the conference "Hunting weapons and sport shooting: the excellence of Made in Italy: and the challenge of sustainability ”which opened HIT Show2020, the most important Italian fair dedicated to hunting, sport shooting and outdoor passions. An appointment made possible by IEG - Italian Exhibition Group - and which represents the meeting point of the best national and international producers of arms sector.
