The answer of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, on KC, to a letter sent to the national hunting associations recognized by law, not all of them in truth, because it was not signed by EPS, and which saw the signature of the CNCN, a non-profit association of arms manufacturers, deserves to start a reflection to get out of a dead end. The answer, even too peremptory in truth, on the merits, however, recalls with a wealth of references of method and merit of the more or less recent past, interlocutions with associations, ours, which by law, together with the agricultural and environmentalist one, is entitled to speak. On the subject of KC, he does not leave much space for the next "hunting calendars" except for the "illusionisms" of the smoke sellers.
It is part of a "rebound" scheme of responsibility for which the key is not found, for calendars, conservation plans: from minister to minister, from Regions to Europe and back, with the usual "cantata" on ISPRA. It is imperative that hunters know. Will this shock serve to make the dear associations understand that we must change our way to get out of isolation? It is not all the fault of the "cynical and cheating" fate. We have made mistakes, persevering is suicidal. The first issue to be verified is the availability or rather the interest of the Regions in making their will "weigh". We ask the Councilor of the Veneto Region to convene a "discussion table", an attempt which, in the past, had allowed for a dialogue.
The partners we indicate for discussion are agricultural associations, the environmentalist ones and the recognized national hunting ones for a comparison, or, why not, a negotiation. We believe that the failure of the "arms manufacturers lobby", that of hunters and of the wall against wall is clear, as we denounced it in Florence on 11 February. That representation produced zero! It is useless to climb "other people's stairs" from the service doors. How many "sirens" who flatter hunters, but have no interest in wildlife management at heart, will we still listen? Let's put an end to hunting consumerism and the related negative consequences, so as to protect biodiversity. Overcoming all forms of pollution is something that is the primary responsibility of those who have to rethink the "production" of ammunition to enhance the non-toxic.
Another question: the comparison can only be subordinated to data that are scientific, univocal. Other becomes "cabal"! The facts have shown us that we haven't had them for years. Those announced consequently and repeatedly, have not convinced. This “stuff” contributed to the “Requiem” of a possibility of safeguarding, with conservation plans, some forms of hunting. We are no longer there. Let's start with the hunting policy. Free ISPRA from political and party conditioningmaking it an autonomous agency for all the matters it deals with is a priority that guarantees independence.
Research is also a university. The rest has failed, clearly demonstrating the irreversible limits of the "four notes" that disguised the absence - better the "boycott" - of the other Associations to a unitary path "from below". We do not give up, beware of the voice of the hunters, who invoke unity, denied by the FIdC and other Associations. Our manifesto for hunters is unity, transparently contained in Italy. Open discussion together, the better. No more paralysis! It is ridiculous that the "gentlemen" of the associations testify to their inability by instrumentally claiming the "caregiver" service of the arms manufacturers, complicit in the failure to manage migration. They are selling off the prospect of hunting far beyond the abolition of art. 842 that all the Italian Agricultural Organizations ask for.
A widespread practice where there is only one Association which, in defiance of the Constitution, does not recognize free associations to manage "Hunting Reserves". To Europe - having acknowledged that the contractual weight of Face, whose members are the representatives of the other Italian hunting associations, has achieved poor results - we ask that the law be the same for everyone. How is it possible that the problem is not resolved? That the rules for France are different from those for Italy? Are nesting, mating and so on subject to a passport? There "vainglory", the secrecy of problems, are a product that we will not sell to Italians. The confrontation is open, free, sincere and we will never stop it. PS In the next few weeks we will publish (also readable online) a study by the wildlife technician Dr. Federico Merli which will compare species hunting times in Europe. Knowing to evaluate strengths and weaknesses.
