CONARM ME has organized a course that will take place on 5 October and which concerns the recovery and capture of wildlife. The course is aimed at operators who, due to their profession and / or voluntary activity, must intervene in the area for emergencies with animals in difficulty, wild or domestic feral, ensuring the welfare of the animals themselves.
Mechanical and pharmacological capture (telenarcosis), equipment and their use, approach to animals, emergency intervention, assistance to veterinary personnel, functions and tasks will be evaluated CRAS and CRASE. NB: The use, possession and administration of anesthetic drugs is allowed only to veterinarians. During the practical part of the course, which will take place at the Monte Fuso Provincial Park of Scurano (PR), small groups followed by a teacher will deepen the details of the instrumentation, its use and the methods of approaching animals.

• Origin of the problem, wildlife and why to train dedicated staff;
• Current regulatory framework on animal keeping: transport of animals, welfare of
treated animals; capture of animals; focus on the mechanical nature of capture and differences in nature

• Definition of roles for a better management of problems in a state of emergency: operators,
volunteers, health personnel;
• Operating procedures in an emergency;
