EXA: the Northern League responds to the prospects that speak of the removal of the International Arms Industry Fair from the Brescia trade fair "it must remain in Brescia, the bond that unites them is indissoluble".
Recently there has been a lot of talk about the prospects regarding the Brescia exhibition center and a fundamental reason for pride for the entire Brescia area as Exa. A name of absolute prestige, known and appreciated all over the world, which rightfully represents an illustrious flagship for our entire province. Widely shared considerations, which, however, did not prevent the rumor from circulating with increasing insistence about a possible removal from Brescia of the most important gunsmith fair in the world. An eventuality that prompted the Northern League to take a firm and precise position with determination, as Marco Bassolini, the exponent from Brescia who in recent weeks has become the national head of hunting for the Northern League, reiterated: " Honestly, what you hear around cannot fail to arouse strong concerns. The problems related to the so-called exhibition center of the city and, in particular, to the future of Exa itself require prompt intervention ".
Continuing, Bassolini says, “We cannot run the risk of losing such a reality which, by consolidated tradition, represents a source of pride for Brescia and the Brescians. In this sense, I join the concerns raised by the president of Exa Fiera, Carlo Massoletti, and ask that the issue be considered with the priority it largely deserves. In the first place, also in the name of all the Northern League that I represent, I ask that the intention to have the province of Brescia abandoned by Exa be revised and abandoned as soon as possible ”.
Bassolini also explains, “Between our territory and this fair there is now an indissoluble bond and we not only must not endanger it, but, on the contrary, we are called to make the most of it. I certainly do not discover anything new if I repeat that the relationship between the Exa and the Brescia area goes far beyond a normal exhibition. In this case there are fundamental columns that cannot be absolutely overlooked such as the importance that this event has assumed over the years, the consolidated tradition that has now been created (and not only among fans of the sector) and, finally, but last but not least, the significant induced (in terms of production, economic and advertising) that the days of the fair every year manage to raise. For all these reasons we must ensure that Exa continues to remain a flagship of Brescia and of Brescia. A result that we must "build" without wasting time and that is why I ask for a decisive and determined intervention by the Province of Brescia ".
Finally Bassolini concludes, "Our land and our people cannot lose this reality of excellence which testifies, among other things, to another primacy of the province of Brescia which is and must remain the hunting capital, with all that follows. to this illustrious title both from the point of view of the practice of this activity and as regards the economic-productive aspect that accompanies this whole Brescia pride that must continue to remain so! ".
